Polypropylene (PP) Plastics: with high purity propylene as monomer, titanium trichloride as the main catalyst, one chlorine two ethyl aluminum as catalyst, gasoline as solvent and hydrogen as molecular weight regulator, continuous polymerization is carried out in polymerizer at a certain temperature and pressure. The polymer is suspension, and is washed, separated, dried or dried by methanol. Extruding granulation and obtaining granular or powdered homopolymer or copolymer finished product, that is polypropylene.

PP: during uncoloured, it shows white translucent, waxy, and lighter than polyethylene. Transparency is also better than polyethylene, harder than polyethylene.

Common products: can be used as electric fan motor cover and electrical insulation material, can be used as home appliances such as TV, radio shell, can be used as anticorrosion pipes, plates, storage tanks and equipment lining, building materials, special grades can be used in the production of washing machine barrels, infusion bottles and so on, can also be used in the production of woven bags, packaging films, bundles materials and all kinds of containers, can also be used to produce fibers.Difference between polythene and plastic

Polyethylene (PE) Plastics: the largest production of synthetic resin at present, accounting for 44% of the total consumption of general thermoplastic plastics, and consumption half of the world’s total ethylene production.

Polyethylene is divided into three major categories according to different polymerization structures: low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE).

The largest market for low density polyethylene is plastic film, in which the packaging film and non packaging films account for 50%, followed by the extrusion coating, that is, thermoplastic plastic in the form of continuous film compound to the base body (paper, board, metal foil, etc.), to provide barrier for water, gas, grease.

The largest market for linear low density polyethylene is plastic film and sheet metal, followed by injection molded products and wire and cable.

In high density polyethylene products, the packaging materials accounted for 75%, construction materials accounted for 10% to 15%, and the rest are all kinds of consumer goods and industrial supplies. The largest quantities of products are bottles, barrels, cans and packaging bags, followed by sheets, pipes, boxes, pallets and wires and cables.

Among them, agricultural film is a large user of polyethylene film. The plastic film has the advantages of high light transmittance, good heat preservation and moisture retention, low cost and so on. So these pe films can make into the solar greenhouse or arch greenhhouse, to fit climate for the growth of crops, to increase the production and increase the income of the agricultural products.

PE: it is milky white, translucent and waxy when it is not coloured. It feels smooth and soft with hand touch, and can stretch slightly. Generally, LDPE is soft and transparent, and HDPE is hard.

Common products: greenhouse film, mulch film, drop sheeting, plastic covers, plastic bags, handbags, water pipes, oil cans, beverage bottles (calcium bottles), daily necessities, etc.
